Situated in a quiet rural setting about 2km from the town of Tramore with its 5km long sandy beach. About 300 metres from the site is Newtown Cove where there are opportunities to fish, swim and take in the view of Tramore Bay.

The site opens from the beginning of May abd closes at ens of September. Although the website says tents are not accepted this does not apply to cycle tourists with a tent. Cycle tourists with a tent are accepted and grass pitches are available. The rate is €15 per person per night (2026). There is a campers kitchen availabale for use.
